Speech Error Study

Concordia University (Loyola Campus) researchers are looking for volunteers for a research project investigating the relationship between bilingualism and cognition.

The testing session involves using an electroencephalogram (EEG) to record the electrical activity of the brain while performing a computer-based task. The testing session is between 1.5 – 2 hours long.

Participants must be:

• Aged between 18 and 35 years old

• Right handed

• In good overall health

• Either a:

• Bilingual English-French/French-English (having no functional knowledge of a third language)

• Monolingual speaker of English (having no functional knowledge of a second language)

If you are interested in participating or are unsure if you meet the language criteria, please contact us for more details. Participants will be compensated for their time. Free parking is available.
