Math/Physics Tutoring

I’m a Montreal-based Math/Physics tutor available for lessons for the fall semester. I have over ten years experience tutoring and teaching crash courses, and have been a TA for various math and physics courses at McGill. My B.Sc. was in joint honors math and physics, and I have an M.Sc. in physics.

Subjects I teach: Linear Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Multivariable Calculus, Complex Variables, Algebra 1, Analysis 1, Probability, Stats, O.D.E.’s, P.D.E.’s, Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Waves and Optics, Quantum Mechanics, Relativity, Thermal Physics, Stat Mech, EM Waves, and more. If the course isn’t listed here, send me an e-mail. I’m familiar with most of the courses at McGill, Concordia, U de M, Dawson, Marianopolis, and other CEGEPs. Je peux enseigner en français aussi.

I have a straightforward intuitive teaching style that will help you understand the concepts more deeply, while not getting too bogged down in irrelevant material. We can spend time going over theory, problems, questions, and I’m happy to adjust the pace to suit your learning style.

My standard rate is 40$/hr per person. However, if you have friends in the same class and want to organize a group lesson, we can discuss cheaper rates. I can come meet you anywhere reasonably close to downtown or to a metro station. I’m happy to also bring supplementary learning material / problems / old exams if you’d like.

Thanks for reading. Hope to hear from you!
