Hi everyone! We’re looking for *MALE* English native speakers with an intermediate to advanced level in French.
Our project aims to understand the processes underlying sentence comprehension in English-French bilinguals. To do so, we use electroencephalography (EEG) that measure the electrical activity of your brain while you’re reading sentences on a screen.
To be eligible, you need to meet ALL the following criteria:
Having grown up as a monolingual English speaker;
Having learned French starting at 13;
Speak intermediate or advanced French;
Right-handed;
No history of neurological disorder
Between 18 and 31.
The experiment takes place at the Neurocognition of language lab (McGill University), lasts about 3h30 and we offer a $50 compensation.
If you’re interested, please contact us: lab.langage@gmail.com.
