Newly formed Centre for Mindfulness and Psychotherapy Canada has one office space to rent available for a mental health clinician interested in joining our team. The clinic is located in Westmount. The office available is spacious with a beautiful view. The suite includes a private kitchen and bathroom as well as a waiting area. The office is available for rent for both full time and part time work. The rent will be negotiable and is offered at a discount.
Founder and CEO is Dr Richard Sheiner M.D., F.R.C.P.C.. Dr Sheiner is a child, adolescent and adult Psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience in the field. In addition to training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Dr Sheiner has training in both Mindfulness based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy.
The clinic will run on a private practice model. Clinicians will be expected to generate their own income. Opportunities for collaboration with Dr Sheiner will exist. Clinicians will have the advantage of using the Centre for Mindfulness and Psychotherapy Canada to attract potential referrals.
Applicants must have a permit to practice Psychotherapy in Quebec.
Anticipated future opportunities will be available to do research as well as teaching. No previous experience or training in Mindfulness necessary but certainly a strong interest to learn about Mindfulness and Psychotherapy.
